Please include a synopsis of your manuscript in the body of the email, and attach your manuscript as a .docx file. Please indicate which anthology you are submitting to in the subject line of your email (Creepy Crawlers or 90s YA)

What I’m looking for: Looking for stories set in any time period. Looking for creepy bug infestations, attacks, swarms, etc. Think of movies such as Slugs, The Nest, Arachnophobia, Empire of the Ants, Blue Monkey, The Fly, Creepers, Ticks, Wasp Woman, etc

Give me bloody, intense, creep shows. Get creative. Think beyond just a spider or worm or grasshopper or roach - enhance them. Disaster, military projects, invasion of a suburb, an office building, a ball park, a renovation of an old castle, etc.

Email your submission: submissions@slaughterhousepress.net

**Important note: This will be a blind and unbiased acceptance process. A third party will be the only person who has access to the submission emails. If your submission meets all basic guidelines and formatting requirements, they will send me the story without an author name attached. We will be using a numbers system to keep track of authors and manuscripts. If I decide to accept the story into the anthology, only then will they provide me with the author’s name. If I don’t accept the story, I will never know who wrote it. This ensures that I won’t be choosing submitted stories based on friendships or favoritism. Instead, stories will make it into the anthology based on merit alone. Please do not message me asking if I’ve read your submission. I won’t know if I’ve read your submission unless it gets accepted.

If any requirements or guidelines are ignored, if your manuscript is sent to the incorrect email address, or if I get excessive messages asking if I’ve read your story - your submission will be automatically rejected without being read.
